15 students fall ill after eating leftover food from vice-principal's private event

Fifteen students and a vice-principal fell seriously ill after consuming suspected contaminated food at a government school in Telangana's Sangareddy district. The students suffered vomiting, nausea and severe discomfort, while the vice-principal was shifted to a district government hospital as his condition deteriorated.

According to preliminary reports, leftover food from a private function hosted at Vice-Principal Venkatesh's residence was brought to the school and served to students by staff members.

Shortly after eating the meal, 15 students began experiencing symptoms including severe discomfort, vomiting and nausea. Venkatesh, who had also consumed the food, fell ill along with the students.

The affected students were subsequently rushed to the Government Hospital in Sadasivpet, where doctors are treating them and monitoring their condition.

As Venkatesh's condition deteriorated, he was immediately shifted to the Sangareddy District Government Hospital for intensive medical care.

The incident was reported at Peddalodi Zilla Parishad High School in Munipally mandal of Sangareddy district.
