Spaun birdied four of his last five holes Sunday to win the 2026 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in England, his debut in the championship and in the field after failing to be picked for the U.S. Presidents Cup team. Spaun held off Manuel Elvira, who was tied with Spaun on the 72nd hole but made double bogey to give Spaun the title.
He's the third American to win the BMW PGA, the DP World Tour's flagship event, joining Arnold Palmer and Billy Horschel.
