49ers WR De'Zhaun Stribling carted off after injury vs. Rams
The San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams met on Thursday night at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia, and while Kyle Shanahan's team was down 7-3 in the second quarter, the bigger loss may have come in the form of an injury.
After suffering an injury in the first quarter and returning to action, 49ers wide receiver De'Zhaun Stribling went down on a minimal-contact play. He had to be helped off the field and put no weight on his left leg on his way to the blue medical tent. He was eventually carted back to the locker room.
The team has yet to announce the injury or a status for the rest of the game. We will update once that comes in.
If Stribling, San Francisco's second-round pick, can't go, they'll have to run with Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel, Demarcus Robinson, Jacob Cowing and KhaDarel Hodge for the rest of the game.
Stribling has officially been ruled out with an ankle injury.
