5MW hydropower project planned at Chashma
The PAEC Foundation has signed an agreement to establish a 5-megawatt hydropower project at Chashma, marking its fifth hydropower plant and expanding its renewable energy portfolio.
The Foundation Hydel Power Plant Unit-05 (FHPP-05) will be constructed at the outfall of the Chashma-5 Nuclear Power Plant.
The agreement was signed at the PAEC headquarters by representatives of the PAEC Foundation, China Ocean Engineering Construction Corporation Limited, Ningbo Water Conservancy and Hydropower Planning and Design Institute Company Limited, and Habib Rafiq Engineering (Private) Limited.
