(National Post) By Rob Roberts October 31, 2026 at 8:29 a.m. We just turned 28 years old, and I hope you agree we’ve never looked better: We have a new and vastly improved web site, though longtime readers should find the look comfortably familiar.

The new nationalpost.com will transform your user experience. It puts an emphasis on readability and navigation, and removes many of the irritants we sometimes hear about from readers.

The site is now headed by our masthead’s elegant PostSerif letters in their original print state – black on white. Other familiar style touches abound, including our distinctive columnist woodcuts.

These choices serve as a redeclaration of the Post’s original mission, a reminder that what we stood for then is what we stand for now – ambitious, impartial journalism and robust debate, in a world that needs those things more than ever.

But wait: there’s more! We’re also proud to announce the formal launch of our new Modern Life section. Modern Life is a unique destination for bold and lively conversations about how we live now. From big social trends to relationships and family, health, cost of living and personal obsessions, Modern Life reporters and columnists will drive a better understanding of our fast-changing world.

You may have noticed our soft launch of this content, especially the tart and wise offerings of advice columnist Rebecca Eckler, but there is much more to come. The new nationalpost.com makes your National Post experience easier and more pleasurable. What you won’t find is stories written by AI. Only stories, photos, videos, podcasts and commentary made by real people committed to accurate journalism and commentary that opens minds.

Tell us how we’re doing — your feedback on our new site helps shape what comes next.
