Aakasamlo Oka Tara: Dulquer Salmaan's next has a release date and ambition at heart
The makers of Dulquer Salmaan and debutant Satvika Veeravalli-starrer Aakasamlo Oka Tara have confirmed that the multilingual romantic drama will release in theatres worldwide on November 20, 2026. Dulquer also shared his excitement about introducing the film’s world to audiences.
The announcement was made by production house Swapna Cinemas on X. “The journey to the stars begins. Aakasamlo Oka Tara / AOT Movie - 20th November 2026 in theatres. Come along there’s a beautiful world waiting for you,” the makers wrote.
Dulquer shared the announcement and wrote, “This one has been a lovely journey so far. Can’t wait to introduce you all to this world on November 20th. Yours, Krishna.” The actor’s character in the film is named Krishna.
Directed by Pavan Sadineni, Aakasamlo Oka Tara also marks the introduction of Satvika Veeravalli as the female lead. An earlier introduction video presented her character as a young woman from a rural background who dreams of becoming an astronaut despite being discouraged from pursuing her ambition.
The video begins with a child asking how she can go to space before introducing Satvika’s character and her dream. The film appears to centre on her journey of overcoming the limitations of her surroundings to pursue her ambition.
The project is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam under Light Box Media and is presented by Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinema. The technical crew includes National Award winners GV Prakash Kumar, who is composing the music, and editor KL Praveen. Sujith Sarang is the cinematographer.
The film is Dulquer’s next release after I’m Game, directed by Nahas Hidhayath. The action thriller, which also stars Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar and others, was released recently.
