Adani Group debuts at Kolkata’s Durga Puja celebrations

The Adani Group, which is exploring an investment roadmap in West Bengal, has decided to make its debut at the largest cultural and religious festival of the State — Durga Puja.
Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group during his visit to Kolkata on September 24 had announced that his group will build a curated Durga Puja programme to celebrate Bengal’s artistes and take Maa to audiences across the world.
West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said that Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with Adani Enterprises were signed to explore “cultural initiatives connected with Durga Puja and Bengal’s wider artistic heritage traditions.
“Two meaningful MoUs were signed today. One is about heritage preservation and restoration of the Writers’ Buildings, and the second is about Durga Puja. It’s the main festival of West Bengal,” Mr. Adhikari said.
Adani Group has launched its official website for Durga Puja Adani Preview (DPAP) 2026.
All Durga Pujas across Kolkata, Bidhannagar, and the South Dum Dum municipality area have been invited to register through the official website by 25 September 2026. Each of the eight selected pujas will receive a grant of ₹25 lakh from Adani Group, which includes ₹10 lakh will be awarded to the artist and ₹15 lakh will be awarded to the Puja Committee.
“The maiden Adani Preview will comprise eight pujas across Kolkata — a number we hope will grow in the years to come,” the website of DPAP said.
The preview dates for the DDPAP are 10–12 October, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.
According to the DPAP, the preview will facilitate a convenient and hassle-free puja viewing experience for thousands who seek to avoid the late-Puja viewing rush. “This affirms the commitment of Adani Group to the welfare of Bengal,” the website states.
Before Durga Puja Adani Preview, massArt, a non profit organisation used to organise a preview of Durga Puja from 2022. This year massArt will showcase 24 contemporary Durga Puja Art.
