D. Sajith Babu, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Keralam, on Thursday (September 24, 2026) said that AI-based tools would make the election process more simple and effective.

He was attending a review meeting at the district collectorate here. Mr. Babu said that these tools were being developed following the instructions of the Election Commission of India. The meeting discussed issues such as the quality of basic infrastructure in polling booths. He earlier visited the EVM warehouse at Chathamangalam.
