AiAi Delas Alas wishes ex-husband Gerald Sibayan well - GMA Network

AiAi Delas Alas got candid about her ex-husband, Gerald Sibayan, and his remarriage.

In the pilot episode of “Kalurks” on GTV, the Philippines’ comedy queen revealed that she found out about his new marriage through a friend.

“I never have any idea what he’s gonna do to me,” AiAi said in Filipino.

Asked why AiAi is smiling as she talks about the separation, she shared, “I have learned, I’ve turned numb.”

Despite all the pain and heartbreak, AiAi also wished her ex-husband well.

"I wish him well," she said. "Because, you know, I don’t want to wish bad things on other people."

AiAi added that she is open to loving again, noting, "In God's time."

AiAi likewise joked that she was thankful she was not chosen as a godmother at Gerald’s wedding, or she would have had to say yes and be compelled to give advice to his new wife.

“Girl, you take care. Who knows, you may end up like me,” she said in jest. “Maybe 10 years from now, five years from now, two years from now, you would also be ‘Ang Tanging Ina.'"

AiAi disclosed in an October 2024 "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" interview that she and Gerald have separated after 10 years of being together.

In December 2024, AiAi said she and Gerald are not on speaking terms, and in February 2026, AiAi shared that she has forgiven Gerald.

In an earlier statement on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” about Gerald's remarriage, the comedienne said, "Gerald said 'I do,' AiAi says 'good luck.’”
