Neha, AISA president, was detained in a police car with all male officers and taken away from Jantar Mantar during the protests demanding the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar on Sunday (October 4, 2026).

β€œNeha has been picked up this vehicle with no women police officer inside the car. This is a blatant violation by the Delhi police,” an AISA representative told The Hindu.

The whereabouts of Ms. Neha has not yet been officially informed by the police.

The AISA representative has also said that they had tried contacting Ms. Neha but she was not responding to messages and calls.
