Actor Ajith Kumar has come under criticism on social media after a video from the Michelin Le Mans Cup race at Silverstone in the UK showed him appearing visibly annoyed when an excited fan approached him for a selfie. The video, which surfaced online after the September 12 race, has sparked a debate among fans, with some questioning Ajith's reaction while others have urged people to consider the circumstances before judging the actor.

In the viral clip, Ajith was seen walking away from the venue when a fan approaches him with a phone, seemingly attempting to take a selfie. The fan briefly obstructed Ajith's path, prompting the actor to stop and stare at him. Ajith stood with his hands on his waist and appeared visibly displeased as his bodyguard intervened and asked the fan to move aside.

Even after the fan moved away, Ajith appeared to look in his direction for a few seconds before walking away. The brief interaction has since divided social media users, with some accusing the actor of displaying an attitude towards his fans. “Without fans, Ajith is big zero,” one Instagram user commented. Another wrote, “I wait for the day when this guys goes to other cities for his racing games and nobody turns-up to see him, or cheer him or take pictures with him. I hope one day that happens and Tamil people will gain self-respect.”

“Why is Ajith showing this much attitude? Without these people, you and your family are zero. So, just keep this attitude away and just smile. It doesn't cost you anything,” another user wrote.

A fourth person compared Ajith's reaction with that of Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton, commenting, “Even Lewis Hamilton doesn't behave like this.”
