Ajith Kumar's Dare Devil gets new poster, to begin filming on November 2

Actor and racer Ajith Kumar is ready to get back in front of the camera. The makers of his upcoming film, Dare Devil, have unveiled a new poster of the actor and announced that the Adhik Ravichandran directorial will begin filming on November 2. The update comes weeks after the makers revealed the film’s title, adding momentum to Ajith’s much-awaited return to cinema.

Director Adhik shared the posters in Tamil and English and called it Ajith's gift to him. His post on X read, "My Sir’s Advance Birthday Gift to me. Yes we are rolling the dice from November 2 #AK sir’s #DareDevil (sic)."

Dare Devil marks Ajith and Adhik’s second consecutive collaboration after Good Bad Ugly. The film is produced by Shalini Ajithkumar under the Bravehearts Production banner, marking her debut as a producer.

The film also brings Anirudh Ravichander back to an Ajith project after Vidaamuyarchi. It marks the composer’s first collaboration with Adhik. The technical crew includes cinematographer Abinandhan Ramanujam, editor Vijay Velukutty, stunt choreographer Supreme Sundar and sound designer Suren. Suren was recently announced as the recipient of a Special Mention for Sound Mixing at the 72nd National Film Awards for his work on Meiyazhagan (2024).

Dare Devil marks Ajith’s return to cinema after his extended break from acting. The actor spent the past year pursuing his passion for motorsport, racing as the owner of the Ajith Kumar Racing Team. He competed alongside former Formula 1 driver Narain Karthikeyan in endurance racing and recently took part in the Le Mans race in London.

Now, with the cameras set to roll on November 2, Ajith is officially shifting gears from the racetrack back to the movies.
