Alden and Nadine's first team-up in 'Love, Siargao' lands on GMA Prime this September 28 - GMA Network

A landmark pairing and a breathtaking destination finally grace television screens, as “Love, Siargao” arrives on GMA Network, bannered by two of the Philippines’ biggest stars, Alden Richards and Nadine Lustre.

After its initial streaming on Viu Philippines, “Love, Siargao” now makes its way to free TV, marking Alden’s much-anticipated comeback and Nadine’s first-ever appearance on GMA Prime.

The series boasts a star-studded cast, including Sparkle stars Kim Ji Soo, AZ Martinez, Vince Maristela, and Kyline Alcantara. Completing the powerhouse ensemble are Gab Lagman, Kakki Teodoro, Christopher Diwata, Marco Gallo, and Coleen Garcia.

Beginning September 28, Kapuso viewers are in for a treat with the unique story of Kara (Nadine) and Jao (Alden), who come to the famous island of Siargao for different reasons. However, this beautiful, magical place has other plans. Bitten by the two versions of what they call “Siargao curse,” Kara and Jao cross paths on the island and ride the waves of healing and second chances.

When Kara sets foot on the island, she is charmed to live in the moment and leave her past behind, and that is her curse. She chooses to stay on the island and embrace her new beginning. On the other hand, Jao is afflicted with the second curse after his long-term girlfriend breaks up with him and comes to Siargao.

He then visits the island desperately hoping to reunite with his ex. But his search turns into something different, as he is charmed by the island’s beauty and meets Kara, the best tour guide in town.

Despite their clashing principles and beliefs, Kara and Jao ride the highs and lows of modern romance that might just change the course of their destinations.
