Alia Bhatt, F1 racer Carlos Sainz in an ad after Cannes? Fans can't keep calm

Actor Alia Bhatt and Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz have shared screen space for a haircare campaign that is now airing on Italian television. Both are global ambassadors for a beauty brand, but seeing Bollywood’s Alia and F1’s Carlos together has still come as a proper surprise, with fans quickly turning the crossover into a full-blown online moment.

The advertisement, which is now doing the rounds on social media, has especially lit up X, formerly Twitter, where fans have been posting clips and all-caps reactions after seeing the two together. The pairing brings Alia’s Bollywood following and Carlos’ Formula 1 fanbase into the same lane and the excitement has been loud, dramatic and very online.

Alia and Carlos first grabbed attention through a L’Oreal Paris collaboration at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. At the time, the brand brought together several of its global ambassadors for a campaign reel featuring Alia, Carlos and fellow F1 driver Charles Leclerc.

Now, an advertising campaign that they seem to have shot around the same time is being aired on Italian television. The campaign has sparked plenty of reactions online, with fans clearly thrilled to see Alia alongside Carlos. One X user wrote, "OH MY GOD CARLOS SAINZ AND ALIA BHATT???? HELLO THEY DID IT FOR ME SHUT UPPPPP (sic)."

A second X user said, "That's my girl, that's my girl THE ALIA BHATT with a Carlos Sainz." A third X user wrote, "LOREAL ATE PAIRING CARLOS AND ALIA ALSJKSJEK OH MY GOD"

Alia joined L’Oreal Paris as a global brand ambassador in 2024. She made her L’Oreal Paris debut at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

Carlos joined the beauty brand in early 2025 as the face of its Elvive haircare line. His association with the beauty brand had also surprised fans, especially after billboards featuring the F1 driver appeared across Madrid.

The brand’s global ambassador line-up also includes Charles Leclerc, who joined in 2026, along with Jane Fonda, Elle Fanning, Kendall Jenner and Eva Longoria.What’s next for Alia
