Alonso Delivers Sharp Words Before Chelsea Faces Manchester United Today - Thairath English

Alonso delivers sharp words before Chelsea faces Manchester United today.

"Alonso" roars!!! Hoping to lead "Chelsea" to defeat "Man United" in today's Premier League after two consecutive losses.

Xabi Alonso, manager of the "Blues" Chelsea, stated his goal to lead the club to a home victory over "the Red Devils" Manchester United in today's English Premier League match, to return to winning ways after two successive defeats in all competitions.

Chelsea lost to Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge last weekend, then were eliminated in the Carabao Cup round of 16 after losing on penalties to Liverpool following a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes at Anfield midweek. Alonso hopes to guide the team back to good form.

Alonso said, "We are now back in Premier League mode, and for me, that is our main competition."

"This is a big game. We have had little time to prepare. It is very important that we secure a win to bring back the feeling of victory."

"Right after the Liverpool game, we immediately thought about Manchester United. I saw a better performance on Wednesday than on Saturday, even though the result was not what we wanted. This is a journey where we will face difficult times, and we must learn from them."

Additionally, Alonso confirmed that key defender Maxence Lacroix will miss today's game against Manchester United due to a hamstring injury sustained midweek.

"Max got injured, and we expect he won't be available until the international break. He will be sidelined for several more weeks."
