Amazon reveals deal-drop schedule for October sales event - USA Today
Amazon is giving Prime members more chances to score limited-time discounts during Prime Big Deal Days this week.
The retailer says it will add fresh waves of offers three times per day during the 48-hour sale event, which runs Oct. 6-7. The extra deal drops could help shoppers find discounts on everything from tech and kitchen essentials to beauty products, holiday gifts and seasonal decor while receiving fast, free delivery benefits available through a Prime membership.
Deal drops are expected to include products from well-known brands such as Shark, Princess Polly and Soundcore by Anker, along with trending products and new launches across beauty, technology, kitchen, fashion and home categories.
The limited-time promotions will be available while supplies last, meaning popular products could sell out before the next round of discounts arrives.
“Once fall arrives, there's so much to get ready for—the hosting, the decorating, the holiday gifting—and Prime Big Deal Days makes it easy to check it all off while saving,” said Carmen Nestares, vice president of North America Marketing and Prime Tech.
The event includes shopping categories tied to fall activities, holidays and entertaining.
Amazon said shoppers preparing for Halloween can find costumes, accessories, candy, decorations and party supplies, including select items starting at $5 and candy options under $10.
For game day gatherings and seasonal hosting, the company highlighted products such as charcuterie boards, slow cookers, entertaining sets, blankets, candles and decorative pillows from brands including Barefoot Dreams, Yankee Candle and Bedsure.
The retailer is also promoting grocery savings available through same-day delivery, including select discounts on salami, hummus, pico de gallo, cherry tomatoes and avocados. Amazon said some grocery items will be discounted by up to 75% and that Prime members receive free delivery on orders of more than $25 in most areas.
Amazon's Holiday Shop includes holiday decorations, entertaining products and curated gift collections at multiple price points for kids, adults and even your pets.
Parents and gift-givers can also browse Amazon's annual Top 100+ Toys List, which organizes toy recommendations by age and interest. Amazon says FAO Schwarz is launching a dedicated storefront on Amazon for the first time, offering toy collections and gift options for a range of ages.
Shoppers seeking lower-cost items can also browse Amazon Haul, where the company said seasonal décor and fashion products start at $1, with additional discounts on selected game-day merchandise.
You'll need a Prime membership to shop all the best deals during Prime Big Deal Days. Anyone can join Prime for $14.99 per month or $139 per year, or start a free 30-day trial if eligible at amazon.com/prime.
