Former Governor, lawyer and author P.S. Sreedharan Pillai has been selected for this year’s Amritakeerthi Award instituted by the Mata Amritanandamayi Math. The award comprises a cash prize of ₹1,23,456, a Saraswati sculpture designed by Artist Namboothiri, and a citation. The award will be presented at a function to be held on the evening of September 26 at the Amritapuri Campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, as part of the Vishwa Seva Day celebrations of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math.
