Animal rescue record to be digitised
A digital system will be launched at the Police Animal Rescue Centre (PARC) to maintain and monitor records of animal rescue, treatment and protection cases.
A memorandum of understanding was signed for the development of the system, according to a spokesperson. Under the initiative, records relating to animal rescues, medical treatment and protection will be digitised and made accessible through a centralised system.
The spokesperson said the system would also be linked with artificial intelligence to facilitate monitoring of rescue operations.
