The Gauteng government's "Orange Day'" campaign is set to bring together men's organisations, including sports clubs and civic groups.
This follows multiple murders of women in recent months, whose bodies were found dumped in various areas.
The awareness session is themed 'Men Leading a United Stand Against GBV and Femicide'.
Organisers expect about 200 men to take part in the programme, starting with a 'Walk for Solidarity' near the KwaThema police station.
