The APCPDCL is organising Seva Sethu Abhiyan camps for three days starting on Tuesday (October 6, 2026), in its jurisdiction, announced CMD P. Pulla Reddy in a press release on Monday (October 5). The primary objective of the campaign is to bring solar power closer to every household and to create awareness among consumers about the benefits of installing rooftop solar power systems under the PM Surya Ghar—Muft Bijli Yojana.
Under the scheme, eligible residential consumers are being provided with financial assistance by the Central government to the tune of ₹30,000 for a 1 kW rooftop solar system and ₹60,000 and ₹78,000 for 2 kW and 3 kW or higher systems, respectively. The subsidy will provide financial support to households opting for rooftop solar installations.
