Asian Games schedule for Oct 2: India's hockey, boxing, wrestling finals in spotlight
October 2 brings a packed programme for India at the 2026 Asian Games, with medal events spread across wrestling, boxing, archery, cycling and hockey. The day begins with golfers and archers in action, while wrestlers Dipanshi, Priya Malik, Sujeet and Rajat Ruhal enter the competition in their respective categories.
Archery could produce medals in the women’s and mixed team events, while cycling features the men’s Madison final and the concluding stages of the women’s omnium and men’s keirin. Boxing has three Indian finalists, with Lovlina Borgohain, Parveen and Ankush all fighting for gold.
