The Asian Games enters its penultimate day on Saturday, with India set for a packed schedule across several sports and a number of medal opportunities. With the Games moving towards the October 4 closing ceremony, Indian athletes will look to add to the country’s medal tally in the final stretch of competition.

The day begins early with the final rounds of golf, followed by action in archery, taekwondo, wrestling, sailing, rugby sevens and volleyball. Wrestling will be particularly important, with Aman Sehrawat, Sagar Jaglan, Deepak Punia, Antim Panghal and Manisha Bhanwala scheduled to compete across different stages, including potential medal bouts later in the day.

Two major team finals will headline India’s campaign. At 10 AM, India face Pakistan in the men’s cricket gold medal match.

Later, at 3:30 PM, the men’s hockey team will take on Malaysia in the medal round. Archery and taekwondo could also bring further medal opportunities, making Saturday one of the busiest days of India’s Asian Games campaign.
