BARMM parliamentary elections: Here's where you can see the results - GMA Network
The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). held its first parliamentary elections on Monday, September 14, with 2.393 million registered voters.
According to the Commission on Elections (Comelec), transmission of the partial and unofficial results of the BARMM polls was expected to begin after the closing of polls at 7 p.m. and the printing of the first nine copies of the election returns.
There are 5,212 voting precincts in 105 municipalities and cities across the Bangsamoro region.
The elections are expected to fill the 80 seats in the Bangsamoro Parliament, composed of 40 regional parliamentary party representatives, 32 parliamentary district representatives and eight sectoral representatives.
Comelec chairperson George Garcia earlier said he is hoping for a 65% to 70% voter turnout in the BARMM polls.— MCG, GMA News
