The gas crisis at CNG filling stations in Dhaka is showing no signs of easing. Vehicles are waiting in long queues for hours to get gas. Long lines of vehicles are seen at filling stations in the Technical and Gabtoli areas on Wednesday afternoon.
The Buriganga River bank in Dhaka’s Keraniganj is a major location for the construction, repair, and dismantling of river vessels in the country. There are more than 25 dockyards, large and small, at the location, with thousands of workers toiling away 24 hours a day.
