The Chicago Bears continue to showcase their offensive identity under head coach Ben Johnson, as they once again put up an outstanding performance in their running game in a 23-12 win over the New York Jets in Week 4.

The Bears put up a total of 232 rushing yards against the Jets, 146 of which came from running back Kyle Monangai, who also scored two touchdowns on the day. D'Andre Swift also added 58 yards on the ground. Chicago's ground performance added to the resume of head coach Ben Johnson, who continues to establish himself as one of the best offensive head coaches in the NFL.

After the Week 4 win over the Jets, Chicago continues to stand apart from the rest of the NFL, accomplishing something that no other team has come close to. The Bears have the most games with 230-plus rushing yards since 2025. Chicago has four of those games while no other team in the league has more than two games.

Johnson has clearly made his impact on the Bears offense, which also is a compliment to the rebuilt offensive line which was put together prior to the 2025 season. Whether it's Kyle Monangai or D'Andre Swift, the Bears have established a two-headed running back attack on the ground, which opens up their entire offense, and their Week 4 win is the second time this season in which they had over 200 yards rushing in a game.
