Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 4 win over Lions
Week 4's Sunday night showcase might've served as a coming-out party for the connection between quarterback Bryce Young and wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan.
The duo paced the Carolina Panthers to a 32-26 win over the Detroit Lions under the bright lights of Bank of America Stadium. Young hit on 29 of his 41 passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns—with McMillan accounting for 14 of those completions, 192 of those yards and both scores.
Here are the best (and worst) Pro Football Focus grades from the big victory . . .
*Players listed recorded at least 10 offensive snaps or 10 defensive snaps.
McMillan's 91.4 overall offensive grade is a new career-high—as were his 14 catches and 192 receiving yards.
And if the offense was a three-headed monster, then Hubbard sits alongside McMillan and Young. He rushed for a season-high 122 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.
Fortner was given a 30.4 grade in pass blocking. This is now his third straight sub-40.0 pass-blocking grade.
Bullock, in place of an injured Damien Lewis, was charged with four pressures.
Ransom was given a team-best 72.0 grade in coverage. He allowed one catch for four yards.
Lloyd notched a team-leading three stops.
Evans received a team-worst 27.3 coverage grade—surrendering 12 receptions, 208 yards and a touchdown in 15 targets.
