Bihar girl, 16, found dead inside well 2 months after marriage, husband arrested
A 16-year-old girl who had married a 20-year-old man around two months ago was found dead inside a well in Bihar's Rohtas district, with her body recovered in a sack. Police have arrested her husband, Pinku Bind, and another man, Dhanji Pasi, in connection with the case.
The body was recovered from a well in the Dumarkoh forest area under Baddi police station following information from local villagers. According to the information provided by the police, she had come to stay with her maternal aunt in Baddi.
During her stay there, she married Pinku Bind, a 20-year-old resident of Baddi, around two months ago. Police said the girl was a minor at the time of the marriage.

The case came to light after villagers informed the police about the body. A police team reached the Dumarkoh forest and recovered minor girl's body from a well.
The body had been stuffed inside a sack and was found in a severely decomposed condition. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death and the reason behind the alleged murder.

Rohtas SP Mr Raj said the police took prompt action and arrested two people, including the deceased's husband. He said further investigation into the case is underway.
