Bills outline reasons why Chargers will not be a trap game

The term "trap game" is being tossed all over Week 3 between the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Chargers and for obvious reasons.

The Bills (2-0) look like the best team in the NFL.

Meanwhile, no one has disappointed more through two games than the Chargers (0-2).

But the top names in Buffalo are making sure to not overlook Los Angeles ahead of kickoff on Sunday at Highmark Stadium.

Both quarterback Josh Allen and head coach Joe Brady pointed out the run defense the Chargers have sported so far this year. At just 2.7 yards per carry, no defense has allowed less yards on the ground than the Bolts so far in 2026.

Not to mention, the Chargers have some guy on defense named Khalil Mack, who yes, attended the University at Buffalo.

Those are a few of the reasons the Bills have assured they will not overlook the Chargers.

"Khalil Mack is one of the best pass rushers of the last 20 years or so," Allen said. "They throw a lot of different looks at you. You've got to be ready for a lot of different things.

"I keep waiting for his production to dip, it just seems like it never does," Brady added. "They understand their scheme."
