BREAKING: Saints rookie Jordyn Tyson returns to practice on Wednesday - Saints Wire
This is big. New Orleans Saints wide receiver Jordyn Tyson will return to practice for the first time since his mid-August hamstring injury, per NewOrleans.Football's Nick Underhill. The team's first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Tyson was selected with a vision of complimenting Chris Olave as the WR2 in New Orleans -- giving second-year quarterback Tyler Shough a physical compliment and big-play threat opposite the established All-Pro.
Instead, Tyson had to miss the first seven games on injured reserve after getting injured during a joint practice session with the Jacksonville Jaguars. That he has an extensive history of hamstring issues didn't help, and the decision to draft him so highly has drawn a lot of criticism for the Saints. But if he's back in action and making plays soon (perhaps as soon as Sunday's game with the Cleveland Browns), a lot of that doom-and-gloom will be washed away.
This is a developing story. Stay tuned for updates.
