TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Arsenal suffered a 3-0 defeat away at Brighton & Hove Albion's Amex Stadium on Saturday, conceding goals to Pascal Gross, Charalampos Kostoulas, and Chema Andres.

Arsenal responded through Bruno Guimaraes in the 18th minute; he unleashed a first-time shot from mid-range that went narrowly wide of the right post.
Brighton broke the deadlock in the 31st minute. Gross found space outside the penalty area and unleashed an accurate shot that struck the post before finding the bottom right corner of the Arsenal goal.
The hosts threatened again through Yasin Ayari in the 39th minute, but his shot went wide.
Brighton doubled their lead just before halftime. Kostoulas produced a moment of individual brilliance, unleashing a powerful shot that found the bottom left corner of the Arsenal net.
In the second half, Brighton scored a third goal in the 57th minute through Chema Andres, who won an aerial duel inside the box and headed a corner kick into the bottom right corner.
Arsenal attempted to reduce the deficit, but Riccardo Calafiori's header in the 72nd minute went wide of the target.
Kai Havertz also came close to scoring in the 78th minute. Receiving the ball near the edge of the box, Havertz fired a shot towards the left post, which the Brighton goalkeeper managed to save.
Brighton nearly added a fourth goal in the 90th minute. Matt O'Riley managed to get into the penalty area and fired a low shot towards the right post, but Raya made another save.
