Broncos injury report: Here's the latest update for WR Jaylen Waddle

The Denver Broncos returned to practice on Wednesday as they begin preparing for a Week 4 showdown with the San Francisco 49ers.

The biggest story on the injury front is the status of wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who was spotted in a walking boot after Week 3. Waddle appeared to have a slight limp on Denver's final drive of Sunday Night Football and took a play off, but he was back on the field one play after that and appeared to be moving normally.

Waddle was present at the portion of practice that was open to media members on Wednesday afternoon, and coach Sean Payton said he fully participated in practice.

Meanwhile, outside linebacker Dondrea Tillman (hamstring) did not practice, while wide receiver/returner Marvin Mims (foot) did practice. Mims missed the team's last two games. Tyler Badie, Kris Abrams-Draine and practice squad rookie Kolbe Katis have helped handle return duties while Mims has been sidelined.

Meanwhile, in California, the 49ers are dealing with a host of injuries. Niners wide receiver Mike Evans (ribs) seems to be in danger of missing Sunday's game. Meanwhile, linebacker Dre Greenlaw (quad) will not practice Wednesday, but he's expected to be ready for Sunday. Defensive end Nick Bosa (calf) will likely miss this week's game.

The Broncos and 49ers are scheduled to practice again on Thursday and Friday before releasing final injury reports with game statuses for Sunday's showdown at Levi's Stadium.
