Broncos PFF grades: Best, worst players in comeback win over Rams - Broncos Wire
The Denver Broncos defeated the Los Angeles Rams in a wild 30-26 comeback on Sunday Night Football in Week 3. Following that victory, here are Denver's best (and worst) player grades from Pro Football Focus.
Nate Adkins had just one catch on Sunday night, but it was good for an eight-yard touchdown. He has now scored in consecutive games.
Bo Nix completed 50% of his passes for 186 yards with two touchdowns through the air and a rushing score. He helped lead a comeback win and was clutch when it mattered, but PFF apparently wasn't impressed by his inefficient numbers, including one interception and another that was nullified by a penalty.
Have a day, Talanoa Hufanga! The safety finished the night with five tackles, three pass breakups, two interceptions and one sack. His pick-six gave Denver a lead, and his second interception sealed the win.
Davante Adams won the matchup against Pat Surtain early, finishing the game with seven receptions for 137 yards, but the Broncos did keep Adams out of the end zone and PS2 had a much better second half.
Filling in for an injured Marvin Mims, undrafted rookie Kolbe Katsis bobbled one return and dropped another, but he ended up securing the ball both times and ended the night with 146 yards on seven returns. Wil Lutz missed a field goal but went 2-for-2 on his extra point attempts.
