Broncos' updated 17-player practice squad with new arrival Jahfari Harvey

The Denver Broncos have an updated practice squad going into their Week 4 showdown with the San Francisco 49ers.

After promoting long snapper Mitchell Fraboni from the practice squad to the 53-man roster ahead of Week 3, the Broncos had an open spot. Denver filled that opening by signing pass rusher Jahfari Harvey on Tuesday.

Harvey (6-2, 255 pounds) spent most of last season on the Las Vegas Raiders' practice squad as an undrafted free agent out of SMU. He appeared in two games as a rookie, totaling one tackle and one pass breakup.

NFL teams are allowed to carry 16 players on their practice squad, plus a potential 17th player as an international exception. The Broncos have Nigerian-born pass rusher David Agoha filling their extra 17th spot.

The Broncos are preparing to face the 49ers on the road in Week 4. San Francisco's considered a home favorite going into that AFC vs. NFC showdown.
