BSF shoots dead 2 suspected Pakistani intruders along Punjab border
Two Pakistani nationals were shot dead by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel near a BSF post along the India-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district on Friday while allegedly attempting to cross into Indian territory, officials said.
The incident took place near the BSF’s Rajoke post in the Khalra sector, close to the International Border.
According to sources, the two men were allegedly attempting to infiltrate into India when BSF personnel opened fire, killing both of them.
The identities of the suspected intruders have not yet been ascertained. Further details about the circumstances of the incident and the recovery of the bodies were awaited. - Ends
