Caught on CCTV: Worker falls to death from third floor while painting at UP school

A worker died after falling from the third floor of Jaipuria School in Uttar Pradesh's Basti while he was carrying out painting work. The incident was captured on CCTV, showing the worker falling from the upper floor.

The deceased, identified as Ved Prakash, was working on the third floor of Jaipuria School when he fell from the building. He died at the spot after falling to the ground.

A CCTV video of the incident has surfaced, capturing the moment the worker fell from the third floor.

Following the incident, Ved Prakash's family was left devastated. His brother and other family members have alleged negligence by the Jaipuria School management over safety arrangements at the site.

The family has also alleged that the incident took place at around 3 pm, but they were informed about Ved Prakash's death only at around 7 pm.

The family has raised questions over the delay in informing them and alleged that adequate safety arrangements were not in place while the painting work was being carried out.
