Chittoor District Collector inspects arrangements for CM’s Kuppam visit

District Collector Sumit Kumar on Friday inspected the arrangements for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s two-day official tour of Kuppam Assembly constituency on September 21 and 22.
Along with officials of the Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA), police and revenue departments, Mr. Sumit Kumar inspected the helipad site at Thumsi village, the construction sites of the RDO and DSP offices at Kothapeta, the public meeting venue and the proposed Rythu Bazaar at Raju Colony Circle on the bypass road.
The Collector directed officials to prepare lists of beneficiaries of skill development programmes, the Sanjeevini health project, women entrepreneurs and allied agriculture schemes who would interact with the Chief Minister during the programmes.
He instructed officials to complete works related to the helipad, stages, roads, guest houses, security, traffic regulation, drinking water, sanitation, power supply, medical services and parking within the stipulated time. He stressed the need to ensure quality in the works and effective coordination among all departments.
