Chuchu, a TikTok cat viral for 'sundo serye,' passes away - GMA Network

Chuchu, a viral TikTok cat known for his "sundo serye," has passed away.

On Facebook, Chuchu's fur parent, Mark Anthony Borcelo, shared the news of his cat's passing.

"My handsome baby boy, my biggest heartbreak," he wrote.

"I wish I could have kept you forever," he added. "Thank you for choosing me to be your fur dad."

On TikTok, Mark shared that Chuchu had been in and out of the veterinary hospital since last week due to complications with his urinary system.

Chuchu's dedicated TikTok page has amassed over 215,000 followers and more than 15 million likes across his videos.

The fur baby gave joy to many online with his willful personality and free spirit, often dilly-dallying with grooming and stretches whenever his fur dad fetched him from the area outside their condo unit.

Mark made the "sundo serye" entertaining by carrying different household items to "threaten" Chuchu to come home.

After he got the news of Chuchu's passing from the veterinarian, he fetched his fur baby one last time.

"This is the sundo serye that I don't like," he said in Filipino. "I just visited you this morning, when I saw the message I was stunned, I asked if it was a dream."

"But it was true. I didn't know I kissed you for the last time then, I wished I lingered longer," he continued.

Mark said he does not know how he will start over after losing his beloved cat.

"I love you so much, more than my life. I will try to be strong you would not be sad."
