The weather system is expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands.

Localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

As of 3 p.m., PAGASA was monitoring a tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The tropical cyclone was estimated at 965 kilometers west of Central Luzon, with maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 55 km/h. It was moving northwestward at 20 km/h.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters are expected across the country, with wave heights ranging from 0.6 meters to 2.1 meters in extreme Northern Luzon and 0.6 meters to 1.5 meters in the rest of the country.
