Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will visit Sakleshpur on Sunday for a meeting regarding the K. Kasturirangan committee report on the Western Ghats and review the progress of the Yettinahole project.
Mr. Shivakumar will meet elected representatives, activists, and representatives of various organisations on the recommendations of the K. Kasturirangan committee report in the Malnad and coastal region. He will hold meetings in Shivamogga and Chikkamagaluru districts on Saturday.
As per the tour plan, the CM will reach Sakleshpur by 11.45 a.m. on Sunday and hold the meeting on the premises of APMC Yard. Later, he will conduct an aerial survey of the Yettinahole project and return to Bengaluru by 4.30 p.m.
