College football picks: Predictions for every Top 25 game on Week 10 schedule - USA Today
Our prominent panel of pigskin prognosticators has plenty to ponder this week. Among the top 25 teams in the US LBM Coaches Poll, there are seven pairings of ranked opponents, including a couple top-10 showdowns.
No. 1 Miami (Fla.) heads to No. 6 Notre Dame in what is arguably the headliner of the weekend. But thereβs also a β rather heated rivalry going down in the Beehive State earlier in the day as No. 4 Utah hosts No. 8 Brigham Young.
Naturally, the SEC gets in on the fun with four ranked matchups. Curiously in each case the higher rated team will be on the road. No. 2 Georgia visits No. 12 Mississippi, No. 7 Kentucky travels to No. 16 Tennessee, No. 9 Alabama heads to No. 15 LSU, and No. 11 Texas plays at No. 19 Missouri.
There are also contests to consider in the Big Ten. No. 20 Iowa visits No. 23 Northwestern, but a couple other contenders face potential upset bids as No. 5 UCLA travels to Minnesota and No. 10 Ohio State hosts Oregon.
