College football rankings after Week 2: Updated US LBM Coaches Poll, AP Top 25 - USA Today

Texas football is set to vault into the top spot in the US LBM Coaches Poll after completing a 20-point fourth-quarter comeback against No. 1 Ohio State on Saturday, Sept. 12.

The Buckeyes led 23-3 heading into the fourth quarter, before Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning led three unanswered touchdown drives to secure the 24-23 win. North Carolina State transfer Hollywood Smothers plunged in for a 1-yard touchdown with 25 seconds left that ultimately decided the top-three ranked showdown.

Elsewhere, unranked Oklahoma State snapped the nation's longest losing streak (12) with a bang, upsetting No. 6 Oregon 39-31 at home. The Cowboys and quarterback Drew Mestemaker outgained the Ducks 554-281, and the loss comes after OSU was held to 10 points by in-state rival Tulsa in Week 1.

No. 10 Oklahoma also traveled to The Big House and was upset by Michigan in a low-scoring affair. The Sooners' offensive struggles continued, with quarterback John Mateer throwing a late interception that set up a short Michigan touchdown that led to the Wolverines' 17-10 win.
