'College GameDay' announces Week 2 location, guest picker - UGA Wire

ESPN's "College GameDay" is attending college football's premier game in Week 2 after attending LSU's dominant win over Clemson in Week 1. The GameDay crew is in Austin, Texas, for the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes at No. 3 Texas Longhorns game.

GameDay picked the Ohio State-Texas game over other exciting Week 2 games such as Oklahoma at Michigan, Iowa State at Iowa, Missouri at Kansas, Tennessee at Georgia Tech, Arizona State at Texas A&M. Glen Powell will serve as the guest picker for GameDay. He's a student at Texas and is starring in the show "Chad Powers."

GameDay's Sept. 10 show starts at 9 a.m. ET and is televised on ESPN, ESPNU, Disney+ and the ESPN App. Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Nick Saban and more will be in Austin to prepare fans for Week 2's biggest game. The GameDay crew will make their picks just before games start to kick off at noon ET.

After Week 2, GameDay will attend another LSU game and their third straight SEC game of the season. GameDay is attending the LSU at Ole Miss game in Week 3 as coach Lane Kiffin returns to Ole Miss less than a year after abandoning his former team before the College Football Playoff.

GameDay has not announced any locations after Week 3. The popular pregame show could attend the Georgia-Oklahoma game in Week 4.
