College student found dead in Cavite
CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – A college student was found dead inside a car in Dasmariñas, Cavite on Wednesday night.
The victim, whose identity was withheld, was found by his aunt at around 9:40 p.m. at the backseat of the car parked near the De La Salle Medical Health and Science Institute in Barangay Burol Main.
Investigation showed the victim’s head was covered with a plastic sheet, while a plastic cable was tied around his neck.
Reports said the victim’s aunt located her nephew through a GPS device installed in the key of his vehicle.
Probers are eyeing suicide as the possible cause of the student’s death.
Police have yet to validate reports that the victim had been suffering from mental health problems.
