Court upholds warrants against CM Afridi - The Express Tribune
ISLAMABAD. The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad on Monday upheld non-bailable arrest warrants against Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi over his repeated absence from court proceedings in a case involving allegations against state institutions.
The court has ordered his arrest and directed authorities to produce him before the court.
Judicial Magistrate Malik Aman heard the case registered against Afridi under the PECA.
The court maintained the non-bailable arrest warrants issued against him due to his failure to appear before the court.
The court adjourned further hearing until Nov 15.
