State vice-president of Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) K.S.C. Bose on Monday said that Vizianagaram would emerge as a destination for thousands of families from North Andhra region amid the significant growth following the establishment of international airport and proposed Reliance Data Center at Bhogapuram.
Along with CREDAI representatives, he formally launched the brochure for the sixth Home Expo, a property show to be held on October 24 and 25 during Vizianagaram Utsav and Pydithalli Ammavari festival season.
Addressing the media on the occasion, Mr. Bose said that property prices have remained reasonable in Vizianagaram compared with cities like Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and others, although construction cost were same for builders of every region.
He said that people working in Visakhapatnam were keen to buy decent properties in Vizianagaram due to the lower cost of living and availability of villas and apartments at affordable rates.
CREDAI Vizianagaram chapter Ch. Suryanarayana Rao and president K. Rajasekhar said that nearly 100 stalls would be set up in the property show. Banks would also provide on-the-spot loans to eligible customers.
CREDAI former chairman V. Parthasaradhi said that stalls featuring building material, lifts, interior decoration and others would also be arranged. He hoped that people from other places would also visit the stalls.
The association’s advisor Cherukuri Sridhar, Secretary Surendra Ashwant and others were present.
