The Quezon City local government unit has announced that Culiat Bridge II on Congressional Avenue in Quezon City can be used by buses starting Saturday, November 7.

The Quezon City local government unit has announced that Culiat Bridge II on Congressional Avenue in Quezon City can be used by buses starting Saturday, November 7.

In a Facebook post on Friday, the LGU said buses may use Culiat Bridge II starting at 6 a.m.

Trucks, however, are still not allowed to use Culiat Bridge II.

The bridge only accommodated light vehicles since July 27 after it was damaged by fire on July 11.

The Department of Public Works and Highways conducted immediate repairs on the bridge after President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. issued an order for urgent action. —KG, GMA News
