Cyberabad Traffic Police advise WFH, online classes in view of heavy rain forecast, Ganesh immersions

Companies in Cyberabad have been advised to allow employees to log out early in a staggered manner from 2 p.m. onwards and encourage work from home between September 18 and 25 in view of moderate to heavy rainfall forecast and Ganesh immersion processions. The advisory, issued by the Cyberabad Traffic Police on Thursday, also asked schools and other educational institutions to consider conducting online or virtual classes during the period to minimise travel-related risks and inconvenience to students.

The traffic police said companies and organisations should consider staggered early logouts from 2 p.m. onwards to reduce travel-related risks and pressure on road infrastructure. Educational institutions have similarly been asked to consider switching to virtual classes to reduce travel for children and help ensure the smooth functioning of essential services during adverse weather conditions.
