Tennessee Vols commit David Gabriel Georges and No. 13 Baylor (Chattanooga, TN) found themselves in an unfamiliar position Friday night in Louisville, Kentucky.

In a highly anticipated Super 25 showdown with No. 19 Trinity, the Red Raiders trailed by seven at the half after getting shut down in the second quarter.

Then the third quarter rolled around, and Gabriel Georges put on his cloak.

That seven-point deficit quickly turned into a 14-point Baylor lead and ended with a 35-27 Red Raiders win as Gabriel Georges finished the night with 315 yards and five touchdowns on 26 carries.

Gabriel Georges owned the third quarter, proving his preseason nod as a USA TODAY Sports All-American.

After rushing for 73 yards and a touchdown in the first half on 10 carries, Gabriel Georges needed just five carries in the quarter to rush for 174 yards and three touchdowns. He had touchdown runs of 15, 75 and 59 on three of those runs.

Following a Trinity turnover on downs midway through the fourth quarter, Gabriel Georges added his final touchdown of the night 7:06 remaining on a 14-yard run.

Despite Gabriel Georges ' massive night, Trinity still had a shot to win or tie the game in the final moments.

Buffalo commit Zane Johnson threw a 70-yard touchdown pass to Jayce Duvall to make it a 15-point game with 5:26 remaining and then quickly scored on Trinity's next drive on a 14-yard pass to Kaleb Warner.

The Shamrocks recovered the ensuing onside kick, but Baylor's Romelle Spearman intercepted one of Johnson's passes off a tip. Trinity would get one last shot following a Baylor punt with under 30 seconds remaining, but the Shamrocks' Hail Mary attempt was short, and Gabriel Georges left Louisville with a win and his first 300-yard performance of his senior season under his belt.
