Digital assets regulation bolstered

Pakistan is developing a modern and robust regulatory framework for digital assets while laying the foundations of a digital economy with an eye on the future of the financial system, Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA) Chairman Bilal bin Saqib said on Sunday. He made the remarks during a meeting with US Chargé d'Affaires Natalie Baker, during which the two sides discussed Pakistan's emerging regulatory framework for digital assets. Bilal briefed Baker on the rapid progress being made in the country's digital-assets sector, while the meeting also covered innovation, financial transparency and the future of the digital economy.
