Diljit Dosanjh Aura Concert Live: Delhi show to kick off amid rain, tight security
Singer Diljit Dosanjh is set to electrify audiences with his Aura Concert at New Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The live event will be held under enhanced security and heavy rains, with nearly 2,000 private security personnel expected to be deployed and traffic restrictions likely around the venue from 1 pm to midnight.
The concert, which marks the kick-off leg of Diljit's Aura India Tour, was temporarily thrown into limbo after the South District Police informed ticketing partner BookMyShow that the event clearance could not be granted due to specific threat inputs and festive policing duties.
Following a clarification from the organisers that the show was not cancelled, a revised security dossier addressing the police's operational concerns was submitted and subsequently approved, clearing the pathway for the event to go ahead as scheduled.
